MY STORY

Texas native, Haley Georgia, recalls her earliest memory of music hearing the New 93Q  Houston radio station play Kerosene by Miranda Lambert on her Walmart boom box. Inspired by artists like Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, and Eric Church, she wrote her first song at 13 and hasn’t stopped writing since. Observing grade school woes and  middle school foes, Georgia continued writing. She began performing at venues like the  Magnolia Opry in Magnolia, Texas singing the songs of Reba, Faith and Martina. Haley  also sought out every open mic night around her childhood home in Spring, Texas to  play her original songs. The sound of the steel guitar and the applause from crowds, big  and small, inspired the shy girl from Houston to keep on singing and writing. At the age  of 14, she convinced her parents to take her to play two of her original songs in hopes  of performing at the famed Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee. Haley stood in the  open mic line at the Bluebird Cafe with hundreds of other out-of-town songwriting  hopefuls. The Bluebird open mic line-up filled sooner than she hoped, however, she  would receive a fast pass to a future Bluebird open mic night and happily, a reason to  return to Nashville a second time; her Nashville songwriting journey officially began. After getting to compete briefly on one of her favorite shows, American Idol, Haley made  the official move to Nashville.

Haley’s professional music career started when Eric Church and Arturo Buenahora Jr.  heard some of her original songs and signed her to a publishing deal on Little Louder Music (Kobalt). Later, some of Haley’s original recordings caught the attention of  Universal Records and she was signed to a full-length recording contract shortly there  after. Her song, "Ridiculous," was featured on SiriusXM The Highway as a Highway Find  in 2015. Georgia released Pretty Girls Mixtape on Universal Music Group Nashville/ EMI  Records. She has been featured in Billboard Magazine and Rolling Stone Country.  Georgia has opened for acts Colt Ford, Kane Brown, Eric Paslay, and Chase Rice. She  also co-wrote Dallas Smith's #1 Record "Autograph" that reached the top of the  Canadian Country Billboard Chart November 2016.

Haley continues touring, writing, and recording music in Nashville, making her country  music dreams come true.
